1. Who we are
NAX Academy (“NAX Academy”, “we”, “us”) is an independent skills learning platform operated by THEBRG Enterprise (Malaysian business reg. no. 003120480-W). We are not a government-accredited institution, university, or public examination body. Our courses, badges, and certificates recognise the practical skills you demonstrate to us — they are not equivalent to a formal academic qualification or a government-issued award.
2. What we provide
- A free English-language handbook covering web development, AI fundamentals, prompting and product thinking.
- An optional AI Tools catalog, prompt cookbook and guided learning path.
- An optional paid NAX Skills Certificate, awarded after a practical build, knowledge quiz and interview.
- An optional Progressive Web App (PWA) mode that caches lessons for offline reading.
3. Your account and progress
NAX Academy does not require you to create an account to read the handbook. Progress, quiz answers and translation preferences are stored locally on your device using localStorage. You can export or import that data at any time from the handbook home page.
Clearing your browser storage, uninstalling the PWA, or switching devices will remove local progress unless you have exported the JSON file.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, resell, mirror or redistribute the paid parts of our curriculum, quizzes or answer keys.
- Attempt to bypass access controls, quizzes, or the certification process.
- Use NAX Academy content to build a substantially identical competing learning platform.
- Upload or share content that is illegal, defamatory, harmful, or violates a third party's rights.
Free chapters (typically Chapters 0–4) may be shared with attribution. Paid / Pro chapters are for personal use.
5. Payments and refunds
Paid programs and certificates are billed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) unless otherwise stated. Because our content is delivered digitally and largely consumed on first view, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase if you have not yet consumed a material portion of the program. 6. Certification disclaimer
The NAX Skills Certificate is a private, industry-style skills recognition. It does not carry the legal weight of a diploma or degree from an accredited institution and does not guarantee employment, immigration eligibility, or any specific outcome. Full details are in our Disclaimer.
7. Intellectual property
All lesson text, illustrations, quizzes and code samples are © NAX Academy / THEBRG Enterprise unless attributed otherwise. Third-party product names and logos (e.g. Lovable, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, ByteDance Seedance) belong to their respective owners and are used for editorial reference only.
8. Third-party tools
The handbook references and links to third-party services. We are not responsible for their availability, pricing, or content. You are responsible for reviewing each vendor's own terms and privacy policies before using them.
9. Warranty and liability
NAX Academy is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the material, to the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the program evolves. Material changes will be announced on the handbook home. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
