Install NAX Academy on any device.
NAX Academy is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Add it to your home screen and any lesson you've opened becomes available offline — perfect for planes, trains, and dodgy coffee-shop wifi.
How offline caching works
- 1. First visit online: the app downloads the interface, fonts and icons and stores them in a fast local cache.
- 2. Open a lesson: the lesson HTML, images and code samples are cached automatically.
- 3. Go offline: anything you've already opened loads instantly. New chapters you haven't visited yet will show a friendly offline screen until you're back online.
- 4. Updates: whenever you're online, the app quietly downloads the latest version in the background and switches to it on your next launch.
Refresh cached content
If content looks stale, or you want to force the app to pull the latest lessons, clear the local cache and reload. Your progress is kept — it lives in a separate storage area.
Troubleshooting
▸The Install button doesn't appear.
Reload the site once while online. On iPhone you must use Safari (not Chrome). The install prompt appears only after the service worker is registered and you've visited at least one lesson.
▸I'm offline and a new chapter won't open.
The offline cache only stores lessons you've previously visited. Reconnect for a moment to warm up the cache, then it's yours forever.
▸I want to reset everything.
Uninstall the app from your device, then reinstall from academy.nax.com.my. Your progress export (JSON) can be re-imported afterwards.
▸Content still looks old.
Tap "Refresh cached content" above, then relaunch the app.
